How FFKM can be used to create the perfect chemical resistant seal
Among our high-performance materials, Perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) offers the broadest chemical resistance of any elastomeric sealing material and is a cost-effective sealing solution for the most demanding environments. TRPlast™ chemical resistant elastomer grades
TRPlast™ FFKM offers a range of grades to match applications within the chemical processing and other industries. Here is what we can offer:
Universal Black
Combining the broadest chemical resistance available, with outstanding physical properties, TRPlast 260B is a black 75 IRHD perfluoroelastomer with a maximum recommended operating temperature of 260°C (500°F). Overall, this can be used to create an excellent chemical resistant seal.
High Temperature Hot Water / Steam
A Black 75 IRHD perfluoroelastomer, with broad chemical resistance, TRPlast 300B has been developed for higher temperature service. This chemical resistant elastomer is particularly suited to use in hot water / steam and amines. TRPlast 300B has a maximum recommended operating temperature of 300°C (572°F).
High Temperature
A low compression set material, TRPlast 316B is a black 75 IRHD perfluoroelastomer developed for optimum resistance through thermal cycling. This chemical resistant elastomer has a maximum recommended operating temperature of 316°C (600°F).
Ultra-High Temperature
Our highest thermally rated material, TRPlast 330B is a black 75 IRHD perfluoroelastomer developed for performance with constant elevated temperatures. It has a maximum recommended operating temperature of 330°C (626°F).
Universal White
TRPlast 260W is a white 75 IRHD perfluoroelastomer that has been developed to avoid carbon black contamination. Particularly suited for use in strong oxidising media and hot aqueous solutions, this chemical resistant elastomer has a maximum recommended operating temperature of 260°C (500°F).
