• What can I expect when working with you?

  Once we have discussed your requirements, we will formulate a material to meet your needs. This will often require testing in our laboratories to confirm key physical properties and chemical compatibility. We can then produce prototype parts for evaluation before taking your product to production.

• What is your lead time on products?

  TRP Polymer Solutions can deliver prototypes and full-scale production parts to strict deadlines. We can supply to quick lead-times as short as 48 hours for specialist ‘O’ rings and 7-10 days where new tooling is required.

• Can you deliver high volume products?

  Yes. We provide custom rubber moulded solutions ranging from one-off parts to high volume bespoke parts. We supply to the nuclear, medical, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, chemical processing and transportation, and motor sport industries – including Formula One.

• Do you ship outside the UK?

  Yes. We supply to North America, Central and South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Southern Asia, Asia Pacific and Australasia. 

• Do you have a catalogue?

  No. We do not have a catalogue; our products are manufactured to our customers designs and specifications. Please contact us to discuss your requirements directly with one of our technical experts.

• Can you make my parts even if I don’t have drawings?

  Yes. We can either work to existing CAD files or we can work closely with you to produce a conceptual design based on your functional requirements. We can also reverse-engineer samples if necessary.

• How do you select the correct polymer?

  When selecting the polymer type our primary concerns are the environment, service conditions and temperature requirements of your application. We can then formulate a material with appropriate physical properties, including hardness, tensile strength, compression set and elongation.

• Are your materials certified?

  Certain applications require certified materials. For example, FDA for food applications, USP class VI for medical uses and Norsok M710 approved materials demonstrating RGD resistance for oil and gas applications. TRP Polymer Solutions provides fully certified materials that adhere to major international standards.
