TRP Polymer Solutions specialises in the design and manufacture of high-precision rubber moulded components. We understand the critical nature of specifying suitable components and materials for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

We produce a range of custom rubber mouldings for these industries, including USP Class VI gaskets, sterilisation process seals, O-rings and rubber diaphragms. These are used at all stages of the production process, including powder and tablet handling equipment for manufacturers of API pharmaceuticals.

TRP have developed a range of specialist materials that have been formulated specifically for the rigorous demands of the food and pharmaceutical sectors. The materials used offer excellent physical and sealing properties, including abrasion resistance, resistance to solvents and high temperatures.

TRPlast® 643 – USP Class VI

A white FFKM, developed for use as a food-safe rubber and within the pharmaceutical industry, provides high chemical resistance to cleaning fluids, foods, bioactive chemicals, and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API). As a result, it’s ideal for creating cleaning-in-place (CIP) seals.

This material provides excellent physical properties and chemical resistance with service temperatures of -17°C (+1°F) to +260°C (+500°F). All our FFKM materials are BSE/TSE free and do not use any animal-derived ingredients (ADIs).

TRPlast® 643 is tested to and complies with the following standards:

• USP <87> & USP <88> (USPVI).

• USP <88> Intracutaneous Injection

This material is independently tested to the following standards:

• FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 (e) & (f)

• FDA 21 CFR 177.2400 (d1) & (d2)
