TRP’s have formulated a range of FFKM grades for specific applications, with internationally recognised certifications. Our certificated FFKM grades are listed below:

TRPlast® 643USP

TRPlast643USP a white FFKM developed for food and pharmaceutical application, this material has the following certifications::

  • FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 d, e and f for repeated use in dry, aqueous and fatty foods. 
  • Certified to 3A sanitary standard 18-03. Tests conducted at independent ISO17025 laboratory with third party verification
  • Tested to USP <87>, USP <88> and intracutaneous injection. Commonly referred to as USP Class VI (USP6)

This material is specifically designed to:

  • Provide high chemical resistance to cleaning fluids, foods, bioactive chemicals and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API).
  • Provide excellent physical properties and chemical resistance

The material is also BSE/TSE free and does not use any animal-derived ingredients (ADIs).

TRPlast® 640USP

TRPlast 640USP is an alternative to TRPlast 643USP, where 3A sanitary certification is not required. This material:

  • Is a white FFKM that is:
    • Certified to 21 CFR 177.2600 d,e and f for repeated use in dry, aqueous and fatty foods. 
    • Tested to USP <87>, USP <88> and intracutaneous injection. Commonly referred to as USP Class VI (USP6)
  • Provides high chemical resistance to cleaning fluids and foods.
  • The material is also TSE/BSE free and does not use any animal-derived ingredients (ADIs).

TRPlast® 230 Norsok

TRPlast 230 Norsok is an FFKM that provides high chemical resistance, its primarily designed for use in oil & gas, and other high-pressure applications, providing optimum resistance through thermal cycling. This grade has been used successfully in applications up to a pressure of 2000 Bar at 200oC.

Key points:

  • Many years of history for use in harsh oil and gas environments, specifically in high temperature / high pressure (HTHP). Chemical resistance for environments that contain strong amines, H2S and mixed chemical streams at high pressures and temperatures
  • RGD tested to NORSOK M710 and ISO 23936-2
  • Excellent RGD and hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) resistance
